i'm not a smart ***. its just that you asked for hp/tq #'s and then placed 1/4 mile times. just doesn't make any sense, homie, but i'll help you. my boy has a usdm b18c with ctr pistons (12.0/1 c.r.), p &p head, skunk2 intake manifold, JUN 3's and valvetain, hondata stg2, dc 4-1 jdm, aem cai,65mm t/b, 2.5" exhaust, 8lbs flywheel. 204whp & 134wtq.

define hardcore B18c1?

mild with bolt ons... 160 to 175whp with 120-130tq

wild with bolt ons, internal work (cams, pistons ect head work, ect ) 185 to 200whp with 140 or more tq

crazy with bolt ons, internal work, NOT a 1.8 any more.... 200 to 245whp with atleast 145 to 155tq

hardcore devoted to making NA redlining honda motors SCREAM all the way to 10k.... everything above.. a big income, and you better be in this for the right reasons for it to be worth it and not just some punk kid who wants to waste money. LOL.... not too many streetable 250whp or more setups out there roaming the streets. Can cost from anywhere from $8 to 15k to get to that goal.

yeah, im debating on whether to go all motor or FI. Those numbers just dont seem like enough for me. i would love to put down 300-350hp....turbo is obviously the way to go. When reaching for numbers like that, what kinda pistons would i want to run on a b18c1? Im kinda a noob when it comes to turbo, but ive been reading alot, and learning a lil bit more everyday. Whats the deal with the ctr pistons.....i see alot of people talking about them in the c1....can someone explain to me how this helps?

your getting off the topic of the orgina post but i'll try to help you out.

for turbo 300-350whp application as long as they are FORGED pistons you are fine. CP pistons have been one of the hottest FI itmes right how... I personally don't know why but they seem to be better choice over the regular JE pistons.
Even Tom at Payne tech says they are the best designed FI pistons ever made.. maybe could be saying it because he sells them, but he also sells other pistons as well too.

CTR pistons in c1 will give you a much higher compression ratio. 12.8..... i think. do search and you'll find it there I garentee it. If not IM me and i'll help you find it.
CTR pistons are not good if your going boost.

lol yeah i know i was getting off topic, but i figured, since i made the thread, i could do that...lol

I have heard about the cp pistons, and i also have learned that lower compression is better for FI, where as higher for na....

ahah higher compression for NA and lower for boost. yeah many will tell you to go with 9.1 to 9.5cr for any boosted applications.

I however will venteru to take the higher compression + boost route. Do search on that and you will definatlly find your aswer! I like 10.8cr with only 8psi well tunned that makes as much power as a 9.1cr that needs to boost 11psi LOL

hope this doens't get locked or moved since your title is definally misleading to what we are taling about.

cp pistons are good because there perfectly laser cutted. AND most of the pro's are switching to cp pistons. I heard like 3 guys started the cp pistons company.

all forged pistons are prefectly laszer cut, it has to do something with the design of it. I sorta think this is just another "...quick, everyone get CP pistons" much like when the crower rods were a hot must get item..LOL
