Well ok heres the deal, my friend just bought a 88 crx. Its got the 1.5 non-vtec motor in it, and its a 5 speed cable tranny. We got the engine put back together but the Drive axles keep on poping out when we try to drive it, i mean it will drive for a lil while then i shift to 2nd and they will pop out and no power to the wheels. The set ring on the end of the drivers side was off and in the tranny and we have it and tried to put it back on but it just kept on getting in the way b/c it was bent bigger. So i guess my question would be , does anyone know why its doing this? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it or anything like that, Anything will help. Thanks guys

Id try expanding the lock ring. This will make it larger and less prone to coming out of its groove.
