Hello,

I am going on Vacation to Scotland for 3 weeks in a month. I never left the car not running for that long of a time.
Will it be ok for 3 weeks and have it sitting in the Garage?
Or should i get someone to start and run it every week?

The car should start up just fine when you get back. Thats the great thing about these Honda's! I wouldn't worry about it.

I never been to Europe so this is going to be so much fun.
Probably the only asian to get off the plane in Glasgow.

 

I happen to travel at least twice a year for a month at a time. I had the exact same problem, how should I store my integra. So I called acura (phone no. listed on their webiste http://www.acura.com), the recommended me just to fill the gas tank full. Leave the battery cable alone. Keep in mind that I told them I'm going to be gone a month!! If you leave your car stored for a long time like half a year or more, follow the manual. I have done this 4 times since acquiring my integra and it has been fine.

don't know if it is too late, but leave only about a gallon or two of gas in your car, gas takes about 2 weeks before it starts degrading, once you have done as tek has said, drive it to the gas station and fill it up with new gas, so that the gas that has sat in your car will mix in and not be as bad for the injectors.

Ok let me get this straight. I leave a bit of gas in...then go on my trip...then come back and fill it up?

 

Wait....only do that if you will leave it in a climate controlled evvironment (like a garage) Outside little gas in the tank will make it easier to condensate.
