Default Man.... don't wanna sound stupid, but how da hell do u remove the paper filter..

just trying to change my air filter, i opened up the box but i can't remove the paper filter from the pipe!
i did a search and no one seems to have that problem...
i thought it would be easy, but i just can't pull it out!

its one piece with the pipe, unless you find the incredible hulk, **** him off, and throw the filter at him... theres no way to take the paper filter off the pipe.

so how would you replace the filter? you have to replace the whole pipe? seems weird to me.

best way to do it I find, is do it after you have been driving for a little bit to get the engine bay warm and then go to the intake arm with a flat head screwdriver and pry it a little bit then pull the filter and it should come off.

there should be a lil spring thingy over the arm where it connects to the filter. you might want to take that off first.
