Don't buy anything from this *******!!!!
i met this person from Honda-Acura.net. The URL is: http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...22&goto=newpost

Here are his infos
E-mail: VEEDAL01@aol.com

i was looking for a 98+ GSR Tranny for my 00' teg Auto to Manual swap. i emailed him coz he post an ad that he had a 99' GSR tran wanted to sale. i sent him the money through cheque $850 US shipped ($750 for the tran, shifter linkages and mounts and $100 for the shipment), luckily he did send me the tranny but oily, missing parts and wreck. The tran has been delayed 3 weeks after he waited the cheque went through. Of course, he won't be that stupid to send me the tran without knowing cheque bounds or not, well, it went through. I tried to post the pics here but i couldn't coz it's too big. This tran looks terrible and has no Serio# on it. Anyways, i emailed him and called him so many times after that. i got 1 phone call and 2 reply mail, not much to say but he agreed to pay me back 800 US and then now he isn't answer my calls anymore. he is such an *******, and i was so stupid. that was my first time buy something from someone i dont know! What do you guys think? Can i get my money back? What should i do now? any help please!!!

The possibility of getting your money back is all up to the seller. There's not much you can do but hope he pays you. Getting ripped off sucks. I'm sorry to hear about it.

Next time, use an online escrow service before doing any large purchases. I hope everything turns out well.

Since i already got a 00' GS auto teg.. i would save it and do the tanny swap..
Well, the one thing you must know b4 you swap anything is to insure you would like to keep this car for long. For me, personally i love my teg and i don't think i will sell it in the future.. i might just keep the money and buy a new car.. and the teg can just be the toy to take it apart and play.
Well, you can do any kinda stuff you want as long as you decided to keep this car for long. Coz once you swap the tranny, you might lost the transmation warrantyso think b4 you decide to go father. ^^

Default He has commited mail fraud...

...so contact the postmaster general. Since the product was not as advertised and the funds were sent through the mail, it's a federal offense. Advise the seller of that little fact and see what he does.

hes right, since the USPS was involved as an aid to commit a crime, it is not a federal offense. I know for a fact, I am a police officer, if you call the local FBI in your area, they will most likely help you out on this situation. Mail fraud is regarded a VERY serious offense, they don't jusu bump you off for a couple of months. Good luck

Ok I feel like an idiot, I mistyped that last message. Since this party used the USPS to aid in the commision of a crime, it IS considered a federal offense. The FBI will go after his *** hardcore. That's better.

You live in Canada and you bought t from somebody in the states huh. I dont know too much about the international ****. I would say call your local FBI office, ask to speak with an investigator. Talk to him about the particular situation and see what they can do to pursue it.

Well its definately a 94-95. The 96+ had rivit holes for the VIN plates. Im not sure why your upset about it being dirty. Just use carb cleaner and clean it off. The thing i would be worried about is that its a Ls trans or a Si trans (92-95 DOHC). you cant tell unless you look at the gears, or drive it. Also the sticker is missing, but it doesnt have any identification #'s on that sticker anyways.

I would only be upset about the year. Thats all. But i would still be very upset. Engine parts are dirty. If you want something spotless, go buy it brand new. I doubt you will get your money back, but its worth a shot.

Just put the fork back on, the boot, the throw out bearing, and your set. Ready to go. Might as well use it, or i'll take it off your hands. hehe

If mail fraud is involved, the appropriate contact entity is not the FBI. Try the Postal Inspectors division of the USPS.
