Default all motor's most wanted?! :)

just made this pix for fun...

extra thanks to Larry @ ENDYN. Some people are skeptical about the manifold but once you see it in person, you can tell a lot of thought went into it. Comparing it side by side against any other manifold make them look like jokes (even ITB's).

unfortunately we don't have enough time to dyno tune the intake in time for this weekend (NHRA @ Sears Point) however we will giving a more detailed report on it soon.

PLEASE dont forget to post back after you get the manifold on, would love to see dynos (obviously) and pics of it on the car. How much was it? (If you dont mind me asking) last i heard it was something like $1800 ( )

does anyone know if they make that intake manifold for H22's? (doubt it..)

Are you going to have a dyno of pre-IM and one after the Intake manifold? That would really tell how much power is made from just the intake. Keep us updated and good luck at the races.

Anybody notice that the plenum is bigger at the #4 cylinder side of the manifold. Looks like a good design. Just cost $$$.

yeah I did. I figured that's cause the first runner takes 1/4 of the air, the second another 1/4 and so on, so the air would move more effectively if it was smaller.
Carbon fiber is so sexy. Even if it lost 5 hp, I bet they'd sell like hot cakes!

It has more to do with controlling the speed at which the air is moving within the plenum.

yeah, less air + same space = less density = less speed.
What about the heat. Would the air heat up as it got further along in the intake manifold. I guess not a significant amount!

Basically the bigger the cross-section the slower the speed. You'll want the air to slow down so it can make the tight turn into the #4 runner.

After reading what you said how this intake manifold makes ITB's look like a joke, I too would like to see a dyno sheet comparison between the two.
