Standard S2000 break-in, 600 miles keep it out of vtec and under 75. Sounds like you got a great deal. You could sell it down here and make some money. What's they sales tax up there?

I hope I got a good deal on it, I'm leasing it for 36 months and then I think I will purchase it... how I love driving that car... i guess i already broke the no VTEC rule , i already hit VTEC like 4 or 5 times, but i haven't gone over 6500 rpm... I drove that bad boy off the showroom floor with only 11 miles on it...can't wait till i fully break it in...
Welcome to the family. But I do believe you should have waited for a 2002 model year S2000. It comes with more standard feature that doesn't exist in pre 2002 models. Anyways read your manual for the break in.

REally? what kind of options? besides the new rear glass windows, I know a couple of new colors, but what more could they add? The salesman told me that they will stop importing S2000's at the end of 2002. it that true or a crock of crap? and he told me the new 2002's will be about 3 to 4k more than 2001's...oh well, please let me know anything you know about the S2000...it's a great car.. i wanted to know everything about it...

The interior is upgrade with Rick's leather center console I believe. The buttons beside the steering wheel also have been upgraded. The shifting action have been improved. Apparently they have got rid of the grinding sound you heard when shifting into gears.
