Default skunk2 intake manifold installation question.

im in the middle of putting a skunk2 intake manifold onto my LS motor. i've gotten it to the point where the stock manifold is off and switching the sensors over. the problem i have is the sensor on top of the stock intake manifold has no place to plug in on the skunk2 intake manifold... can somebody point me in the right direction?

I think I've heard poeple just remote locating it, like some of the older Honda's. Thats the MAP sensor right? Although that kinda sucks for us cause those things don't have a nipple on them attach a hose to.

Hope that doesn't discourage you....hopefully someone will be able to better help you.

That thing on top of the IM is the EVAP purge control solenoid. It needs direct manifold vacuum to operate. I am getting the Skunk2 IM soon (I just need to pick it up), so I can better tell you how to hook it up when I have the Skunk piece in my hands. Do the instructions give any hint as to what needs to be done?

Correct.

Not sure about the Skunk 2, but on the Blox IM there is no vac. source for the Evap Purge Control Solenoid. You can easily mount it on the firewall, or just leave it off. I never had a CEL because of the Evap system.
