what kind of gas mileage are you guys getting with STD hatch's?

i'm guessing it should be pretty good right? might have to give it some gas to get it move with only 70 hp, but that's expected.

i get right about 30 mpg with a GSR swap in a '92 Si, which impresses me. i only get that if i keep my foot out of it.

so i better get as good or better gas mileage with this thing or i'll be pissed.

I have been pulling 32mpg with my std (185,000 miles) I think it is bad since I have heard people brag about 40mpg with their std's... I am in the middle of a Y8 swap with a 5 speed...so if I can stay around the 32 mark, I'd be happy...

 

I get around 36 MPG with my car. Of course I haven't done anything with it because of lack of funds.

 

35-38 mpg is the norm on a good STD engine, with normal shifting.

 

off my old STD D15B1 engine i squeezed once 522 miles off 1 full tank....

522 mi / 11.2 gallon tank.... u do the math!

 

sounds like some really good numbers.

i think i'm gonna keep this car stock for a while then do a D16A6 swap, maybe next summer.
