i thought it was one hell of a deal regardless if it is turnkey or not. if you check the price for a TIM MCAMIS pro-mod chassis, its like $60K just roller.
plus it seems like the price is very negotianable.

it said it was set up for a big block, chevy I would imagine (who would put a big block ford in anything) I would get one of Pat Musi's 707 cu.in monsters with 3 stages of the go juice-makes 2400-2600 hp should move it nicely. or get Leo (neverlift) to make me a small block motor plate and build a 377 with 2 turbos.
Actually I think I would have to get Bert from Bullish to build me a nasty 2JZ single turbo monster
I think if I had money I would be dangerous.
Beautiful car, pay attention to the name of the chassis builder guys were going to here alot about him in the future in the import scene. Leo Barnaby owns Neverlft and his car is the fastest 10.5 tire car in the country, I think he went a 7.24-he's one bad ****

Some people got too much money to burn!..Why would someone start with a beautiful perfect car what was in mags and all, then go about and cut it all up and not finish it *shakes head* makes no sense at all

well, i think originally the guy was gonna use the BMW M3 motor in it. but like it says. he had to move or whatever. so you know how that is. you get what you can get for it. i think they were throwing the SBC in there to peak the V-8 guys interest, seeings how thats where i saw the link.
but if i had the loot. a SONNY LEONARD 813cc MOUNTAIN MOTOR would sit in there just nice

before that article came out the car was crashed at the track after a 10.6x run at over 130(?). as you might guess the car was pretty much done after that. rather than trying to fix it gene decided to take it to the next level and build something wilder. mind you this was when the whole scene was still in its infancy. PRO RWD cars were practically non-existant if he had stuck with it gene liu might have been remembered as one of those "import racing pioneers."

Hell yea, i remember all those cars back in the day and numerous others like that RWD prelude, and a RWD hatch with NSX motor in it.
I remember sawarutari cars too, and it seems like his is the only one that came out 8,000 years later

any chassis shop can get em, you can probably get em from strange themselves. the kit is around $1600 w/ the single adjustable shock. their quality isn't that great though, the shock body has been known to crack. lamb spindlemount struts are much better, but they start out at $3k.
