1991 crx si with gsr and ls trany skunk2 im and stock ex....i have ran 14.6 on street tires should i run open headers and slicks or would i blow my trany? thanx....i know its sad times for a gsr lol

 

That is actually about right. concerning that it's a stock motor with stock exhaust and a 91 si is the heaviest crx made. what mph what 60ft and what 1/8 mile et and mph. dont go open header, just get an aftermarket exhaust weather it be a cat-back system or custom.

 

my 60 ft was 2.4 and 8th was 9.5 and the 1/4 trap was 96 mph wut if i got a b16 trany on it ?

B16 tranny would be better, u might gain a few tenths by doing that

 

Get an exhaust. You need one. Badly. Same goes for an intake if you don't already have one. Your mph is about right for your ET so it's not that you can't drive

60' is nowhere near as big a deal as people make it out to be... IMHO. I've run nearly the same times with differing 60's. But yes, 2.2s 60' should be attainable.
