Wiring da6y8 into a 90 CRX DX
Ok, i heard that i really need to do is get a 92-95 civic wiring harness and just replace it with my CRX wiring harness? Is this hard to do? And will this work? What is required to do this? Help me out please!
No what you have been told is completely wrong.
you need:
1. DPFI to MPFI Convert your DX harness to MPFI
2. Plugs for the VTEC solenoid and oil pressure switch (get them out of the 92-95 harness)
3. Either stay with OBD0 (CRX Si ECU, Distributor and injectors) plus a VTEC controller.
4. Go the OBD1 route. Y8 distributor, injectros and D16Z6 ECU.

The plastic plugs that connect the wires to the solenoid.
I would go the OBD0 route.
you have to do a DPFI to MPFI first.
get the car to run, then wiring VTEC is very easy.
So, get CRX/Civic Si distributor, injectors and ECU.
Do the wiring convertion, install the engine and start it.
get all the bugs taken care off and no check engine lights.
THEN, get a VTEC controller (APEXi) and wire it into the car.
With the APEXi VTEC controller, you only have to connect the VTEC solenoid, which is just one wire to the engine. the rest of the connections are done at the ECU.
