Default b18b in crx, throws of balance?

Does the extra weight of the b18b offset the balance much? Looking into building a crx/b18b for autoX, is the crx recommended? Thanks for imput! (searched already)

I believe that you will need some extra springs/coil overs (or stronger ones) since the engine will weigh down the front end quite a bit, like, literally dragging on the ground. The B16a and B18's are nearly 2 to 3 times the weight of the stock crx engine from what I understand, so you will need to do something to give the body enough strength to support it.

I do not have hard number but 2X or 3X as heavy. Not likely! Yes it will affect balance but what that will do to handling????? I don't know!

sorry but I never heard the b series motors weighing 2 to 3 times the d series motors. i thought maybe 100 lbs is a good guess. basically hybrids have been pretty well thought out now. Progress even makes a special set of lowering springs just for hybrids. Regarding handling the more weight in front the more you understeer

Jeez, think about what you stated.

Let's say a stock D series engine weighs 350 lbs, all accesseries included.

Now a b16 is only .1 liter bigger but according to you it weighs 750 to 1,000 lbs

Can you guys say nooooob!!!!
