Default New gauge faces...

I just installed new gauge faces for my 97' Civic LX. They went in alright despite shady directions. The only problem is that the lights for the rest of my dash (AC and heating instruments) will no longer come on. I hooked controls for the gauges into the existing lighting controls. Is there any way I can get the other lights to come without going through all the dash wires? All input is apreciated.

check the fuses. if you hooked the gauges to the dimmer switch then u might want to try some1 elses dimmer switch because if it shorted out or something then it wont complete the circuit causing the lights not to work.
