Why aren't my fans coming on!!!!
If you haven't seen my other posts, this is a 96 Accord 4cyl. I am trying to give as much detail as possible so hopefully someone can help me. I let my car run about 20 min or so with the hood up looking for the fans to come on. They never did! My temp gauge usually sits about 1/3 of the way up. I let it rise a little past the half way mark before I turned the car off. After I turned the car off, the left fan (facing the engine) immediately came on. Both fans run when the A/C is turned on. I guess that's why I never noticed this problem before because I usually always have the A/C going. This car has an amp, subs, and an alarm system in it. Also, something minor I noticed is that the seatbeat light never comes on (might not be related but trying to be thorough). Is there a fuse that is possibly blown here? What would keep my fans from coming on?
Please help!!

on my 89 lxi i replaced the coolant temp sender in the radiator and everything worked fine.
You could get a jumper cable and jump the connection at the temp sender to see if that is your problem.

Anybody got a suggestion on how to check the cooling fan relay? Also, would it be the temperature sensor considering once I turn the car off the fan comes on? How do I get to the temp sensor in this car?
I have it worse off than you. I have a 97 Accord LX, my fans have minds of thier own. Neither of them come on sometimes when I have the A/C on and then sometimes just the cooling one. And then sometimes my radaitor fan works and the car doesnt raise temperture, other times neither work ever and the car raises temp. at lights when sittin for a while. Very weird ****. NE one ever have this prob. And what do I do to fix it. P.S. sorry to get off topic.
to check ure relay all u do is swap ure power window and ure fan relay in ure fuse box.. if ure power window go up and down with the relay in that means its still ok.. if not that its ure relay.. good luck

That should make the fans run (ignition switch on). If that works, then your wiring & relay is OK.
