Endless CC-X brake pads
Holy ****! Got a set installed in the front and the ITR braking feels like it has improved by 50%
I'm using stock calipers, Motul 600 RBF, stock rubber lines.
At first when I drove off from having them installed the car felt like stock pads. As you brake more and more, the braking distances get shorter!
Had fun bedding my pads, got up to 130KM/Hr / approx 80MPH, braked and saw smoke from my rear view mirror.
The brake pedal feels like stock, but when you start putting the pedal more to the floor the car is willing to respond and comes to a halt.
If I tried with stock pads what I was doing today they would have faded.
Two thumbs up for this upgrade.

Not bad. The racier CC-M will squeel a tad more (not much and certainly nothing compared toe the howling of other brand I've tried) and wear rotor faster. I love both pads. I am going to use CC-X I think but I would like to use CC-M sometime.

What is the best place on-line to purchase these pads?
Edit: Never mind, I see that God is selling them and has good info on his site..

Not cheap that's for sure. I put them on yesterday drove off and wonder why the hell did I buy these didn't make noise (exhaust, intake, header) didn't improve the looks.
Then you start breaking them in by putting temperature into the pads you'll be convinced why you bought them.

I have had mine for quite some time now. I love mine, but I do think they they do put out a little dust, although it might just be my CW wheels
No squealing from mine either. All of my cars will be getting CC-x's from now on!

do the cc-x pads require a few warm up stops to get to optimal operating temp?
mike, how do the cc-x pads do in the winter? do you swap them out for cold weather pads?

dan, thanks for the info. i believe i've talked to you before about pads, do you feel these are far better than porterfield r4s? my application is street and a lot of autox, no track days yet.
dan, mike: how do you feel the new cc-r compound compares to the cc-x? same stopping power but requires less of a warm up? not that 1 stop is a big deal.

Update: raining in Toronto, Ontario Canada
The car stops even better???!! In the rain spectacular performance feel is better today than yesterday.
Thought I would fade before warm up. Not really. It's 15 degrees celcius here. The brakes stop very solid.

I too have been impressed by the CC-X' ability once warm. I live in the mountain's and everday I take a 15% grade down to ground level, at first I dont think I will be able to stop then suddenly boom they get nice and warm and I am trying to keep the tires from locking up.
HEH, maybe I should reinstall the ABS computer.
