curious on price of insurance for motorcycles?

I am wondering how much would it cost for insurance for a motorcycle. I am in NY area and just curious on how much that would cost....is it the same as car insurance pricing or what? THANKS!

My motorcycle insurance was a lot cheaper than my car's is now. I was paying about $40/month for full coverage with Allstate. At the time, I was 22 with a clean record.
