Are both the fans supposed to come on when the engine gets hot? Only one was on (the one on the left facing the engine) when I popped the hood. This is on a 96 Accord LX 4 cyl. What reading(s) should I get from a multi-meter on the fan connector? If the fan itself is bad, is it hard to replace?

I think the second one comes on with the A/C. Kick on the A/C and see if it works...

are these fans puller or pusher type? i want to replace them with the slim line fans from summit and don't know what type they are.anyone?

 

They pull.

 

both come on with accords. one of your motors is bad, tap it with a small hammer and see if it come on,if it does, replace it.
