Man, I love my black R but it is starting to drive me up the wall trying to keep it clean I washed it on Thursday and it rained all day on friday...I can't stand driving around in a car that looks dirty on the outside so I washed it again. Man, I am going to have to open up a credit line at the local car wash or get in really good with one of my friends that own a home. Anyone else with the same frustration? Love the car Gets dirty way to easily . I wanted yellow but got black because it doesn't bring as much attention.

 

Don't take your car to your local car wash... I guarantee you will get swirls and scratches (especially on black).

But I know what you mean, sucks driving a dirty car...

 

Thanks for the FYI flux but I never use the brush on my car...just on the glass and tires. I use the pressure sprayer on the body of the car for that very reason

Hey gan ni nia, send "Fuminsho" and instant message and ask him the details. I haven't ask him anything as far as when and where but I think that it is going to be on Sat. Aug 25th. Just send him a message and he can give you the details.

 

Sounds great but unfortunately I won't be driving my R. I don't want to put that many miles on it. I will be flying into Austin on the 24th and Fuminsho "Marcos" will be picking me up. Do you know how many R's from the area will be going? Man I wish I could drive mine down...oh well, I should be moving to San Antonio within the next year so I am sure me and the bro will be crusing around alot together.

 

..it will be great to have you around, even without your R. I'm not sure how many Rs will be at the meet (shrugs), I guess we'll see.

 

damn nevermind... i'll be in austin from the 22nd to the 24th moving in and getting classes, and i'm driving back here to DFW on the 25th to get the rest of what I need... i'm sure there will be more R meets to come then... laterz

 

I usually 'plan' a carwash depending on the weather. If there is any hint of rain, it stays dirty. It's worse with white especially the wheels.

 

You guys know I'm going I have too............ Can't miss this... I got the friday of that week off early. I was able to get the rest of the weekend off to spend with my R buds.

We might have a club house to hang out at for awhile after a lot of running around and picture taking.

Hey brother:
Don't forget to bring the camcorder and plenty of tape... I'll have my digitalcamcorder and my digicamera. I even bought an extra mem stick for more picture.

I know what u mean big time!! I have 00ITR FRP because my 97 ITR got totaled back in 99.
I couldn't stand yellow because is just a trending color so i had no choice to take black. When i was in college, i had 87 civic si in blk and i said to myself never ever buy a blk car again and now i end up with one. LOVE the car but always get so dusty even after wash just sitting in my garage for days because its my weekend car only. My daily commute 94 white Tercel looks cleaner.
Anyway, i wash, wax, dust mop car and just can't win, even sitting in garage collecting dust drives me nuts. I didn't drive it last winter so i always dusting it every wk because every god damm scratch and dust shows.
So for sure i go back to CW when next gen. ITR comes to US. For now, U and i are in the blk forever dusting club!

Heres what i do with my black integra, wax it often, I use the meguirs Hi-tech yellow wax, even if it rains the car stays clean, all you may have to do is dust it off here and there, and if you do get some dirt on it, it brushes off very easily with a rag, wax is a wonderful thing.
