Default Anybody ever seen these fender braces before?

I got them from a Junker for 50 bux...
They came out of a Civic, but he didn't realize what it is.
I took them to A&J and they said the are fender braces from one of their customers car who crashed it a while ago. LOL! I think he said they are made by K Shift or something like that...or maybe it was K Mart. DOH

Anyways, how the hell do I install them?

You have to take off the fenders to access the mount points. Take pics then, cause you'll never see them again.

They were sitting on a shelf with 2000 Civic SiR written on them. The salepersoon didn't take them off the car and his workers were on lunch...
Keep in mind thats 50 canadian and it wasn't with cash...a credit note
I also got a ITR rear sway bar, trunk bar and hatch brace.

Hey with that many support bars in the back if you took off your rear bumper support would you be safe if ya was hit in the rear? And whats the total weight of all your bars that you've added back there allready? I'm gettin some wobble in my rear and this info could help me out. thanks

you have to take off your door and fender to mount the fender brace, it mounts under the door hinge and to another spot on the chassis under the fenders.

i have held the j's racing 3pt but i have not used it on my car, i cant say whether or not they work.

Haha @ the trunk thing. Don't listen to anybody, it's your car. But really, what does the brace do? Just extra stiffening?

I'm glad I got them...I'm putting them in tomorrow.

Oh and about the bars in the trunk, people can say what ever they want. It is overkill, it does look stupid, but I had fun making them so...

Everyone needs info and hands on knowledge about customing their vehicles. Aint nuthing stupid about that. At least you can say you did it yourself and didnt pay for someone else to do it for you also, unlike some people i've seen do. Big thumbs up from me.

And after all it's your vehicle. Build it the way you want. Others dont drive it, you do.

I put the bars in today, they were easy to install, just kind of time consuming...the hardest part for me was lining up the damn side skirts with all the tabs
