Okay, putting the JDM header on I noticed the header has a bracket towards the bottom to hold the weight of the header at the bottom of the car. However, the bracket on the R has bolts in it already. I can't remove the bolts from the header or the bracket, what do you guys suggest I do??

Yeah, maybe. Dan (god) said I don't need to use the braket, but I am a little worried about that. Gonna see if a machine shop can help me out and cut the bolts out.

Anyone know of any good machine shops in AZ?

 

don't bother w/ it...it's fine w/out using them...

some JDM headers (like my spoon) don't have the bracket at all, so I'm sure it can handle the weight.

 

You don't really need the bracket. If you're really worried about it, go to http://www.ipsracing.com and buy the lower header bracket.

 

I agree with everyone who said you don't need the bracket. I haven't been using one with mine, and everything is fine as far as I can tell.
