I'm starting to get a hang of what i really want, and eliminating stuff that i'll be regretting. So not too much to see under regret mods.


regrets........
1. sleeves... rough ride on stock shocks...!!!i like the adjustable though!!!!!
2. Cutting the plastic that surrounds the shifter !!!!My biggest regret!!!!

Heehee, I regret my first exhaust. Was back in about 97 or so and I had an exhaust shop weld up a custom 2.25" exhaust with a flowmaster muffler and 4" tip. That thing was LOUD, not high pitched though, had some serious rumble and would set off car alarms like crazy.

i regret trading my bronze Racng hart cp-10s

 

I regret putting tinting on windows. After 5 years in the brutal Florida sun it's all bubbled in the back and looks like Sh*t. The company that put it on went out of business (Sunout) so now I have to pay another company to remove/replace it. This was the place the Honda dealership recommended.

 

I regret selling my lightly modded 94 GSR...but that's another story.

The best mod I've done to my 97 GSR 4dr is the Type R spring/Koni shock combo and the Type R rear sway bar. These two mods combined dramatically changed the handling of my car. I could never go back to stock.

 

I regret modding my front bumper on a curb.

 

Things I am glad I did on my 97 RS:
1.) AEM CAI
2.) Comptech header, test pipe, ITR catback
3.) B & M short throw shifter

Regrets:
1.) Trying to paint interior pieces (what the h*ll was I thinking?!?!)
2.) Pacesetter header ... what a waste of money
3.) 17 inch Konig Monsoons ... best decision I made was to sell them!! Goodbye and good riddance!
4.) Taking off stock muffler and just welding on a 4 inch tip .. how ghetto

 

Worthwhile mod= buying my GS-R that ran 14.97 with just a muffler
Regret= Not getting an intake or suspension instead

 

Good choices:

$50 16" rims
2.25" hayame muffler on 2.25" custom piping
custom blue angel eyes
painting the climate control buttons red on the inside
changing the bulbs in the guage cluster to red

learning to drive the car

Bad choices:

ebay intake
buying the integra instead of a 2001 2.5rs

How long did you have the KYB AGX? How stiff did you have them?

Biggest regret:
Not buying a 91 Mitubishi Galant VR-4

Since about january? Have them anywhere between 2 and 4 depending on if I am driving around town or AutoX

Had my cylinder head cc'd to 84mm on my Civic-bad move.
