h22 or a b16/b18 head fit my f22block

h22 or a b16/b18 head fit my f22block
I have yet to be told why I cannot put just a vtec head on the f22a1 block. are the blocks the same? It would be a whole lot easier and cheaper to just swap the head, and switch the ecu also. If i am wrong can some one please correct me.

No, you cannot put an H22 or B series head on your car. If you want to swap a VTEC head I would suggest putting the EX accord head on it.

ive been told you can swap the h series head on, but there are some oil holes that need to be closed off on the the head... never actually seen it done tho.
you CAN however swap on the f22b1 head with no problems. you do need the EX accord ecu tho.
