Default How many whp should I expect by the AN-R???

I was just wondering how much better the AN-R header is, compared to the DC 4-1.. how much more could I expect????
The engine is a B16a2... with random highflow cat, SP catback and a short air intake...

I'd be really happy with 5whp, but there really aren't enough people with it to be able to accurately predict. Do us all a favor and let us know before & after! good luck

well you should let us know what mods you have already and what WHP it makes right now...then we could give you a more accurate guestimate.

cams and compression is going to make a big differece.

is there a way to make the street version (compact) of the header to clear a/c?

Right now I have a standard header. The last dyno I did was with a "Ebay-header"(200$) and with that on it made 162 HP measured at the flyweel, not whp!!
But 5 more Hp on the flywheel is also 5 more whp...(example)
Right now with the standard header I actualy have no dyno-result, but my butt-dyno says it's about the same.. no difference..

well with just those mods don't be suprised if you lose some low end power. AN-R headers are mainly for a mild to wild NA setup. If you want you can/should get them now and just wait for additional power. Get a good exhust and some good cams (CTR, skunk2-1... or above that range) cam gears and something like a 11:1 or higher compression ratio and the header will be worth it. you'll have a mild setup that you'll be proud of.

Im going to test the an-r in a few weeks when mine comes in. Im at 182/131 right now. IM going to add the an-r header(non compact, regular collector) and the an-r IM gasket. I hope to break 190/135. but if i make 5whp, ill be satisfied. Just thinking it might be more than that, but who knows, untill i i do it
