well the buyer of the Hp Car is a local here.The owner of ARI with the tube chassis h22 car bought it. Viren did bid but didnt get it. the new owners are working out a deal to get lance behind the wheel again for 2004 when the Hp contract runs out.

i know and that POS bid to 20k. i cant believe that. if i get 22-25 for mine i would be ecstatic!!!

It ran High 11s on 30 lbs of boost and a 100 shot. They said that it shoudl run 9s on that pass...lol. I tried to talk to them and they just laughed at my car at the time (I was running 11.60s on 9 lbs of boost). They were bragging how the car had run 10.7 and had hit 140 mph in the traps...woohoo. Now who's doing the laughing. BTW that car is your typical high performance domestic shop that tried to build an import and failed miserabley car. The do have a sick *** 8 second street twin turbo Nova. Brian

 

I dont know much about tuning a race car...but on that CRX....they used 12.5:1 pistons....didnt say what kinda fuel they were using...but I would think that the high compression like that would make it hard to tune....and its states that the motor is a B18A....non-vtec...only 535hp...there are some improvements to be made in that car for sure

 

why did ari buy the car when they've been trying to get rid of their integra for the longest time?

 

i guess its a business decision and at the price Hp was asking you cant go wrong if you have the $$$.I sure woudl love to have my name all over a car like that. especially if he gets lance behind it again.
