Default Anyone ever removed their sunroof?

Well in an earlier thread I said that my sunroof ripped off, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with removing/replacing a sunroof. One of the sliding rails snapped and the other came clean off. Just please dont say I have to replace everything (remove headliner)

Allright, here's the deal. Almost ANYTHING that has to be replaced on MOST honda sunroofs, has to be done with the unit asm. out of the car. There are a few exceptions: glass, sunshade, and a few slider parts. Without knowing exactly what you broke( it sounds like a lifter arm if it was ripped off), I can't say for sure, but plan on pulling the assembley. The good news is that the headliner really isn't that bad, especially on integeras. Lots of room with the hatch open, and liner is not that long. Once you get the liner out, the assembly is easy to remove, and then it will be easy to see what has to come out to replace your broken part, or buy that dude's whole assembly and stick it in.
