I did. It had a D16Y8 running OBD-I, and it ran low 15's at the track, in case you're curious.

What happened to it? I wrecked it. Y-49 curse...

supposedly, the y-49 crx's (barbados yellow) have curses on them. they all get wrecked. i don't know why, but that's the story.

one time at a crx meet, there were about 20 crxs cruising some twisties to the beach for the meet/bbq. i was the only y49 besides one other guy. on the way back, the other y49 crashed, f*cked up his car nicely. everybody starting talking about the curse, and pointed to me jokingly saying "you're next". kinda odd...but whatever.

...now as for the topic, i have a yellow crx as well. it's an 89 si.
-sohc zc motor
-injen short ram
-custom 2 1/4 piping w/5zigan fireball muffler
-b&m short shifter w/mugen shift ****
-skunk 2 coilovers
-steelies
-gutted interior

glad to see another y49 owner on the board, welcome.

-cody

I've got a yellow 89 SI. I see you're in Vancouver; you should come up to Newcastle beach on the 20th for the Honda-Tech meet, and you can see my little turbo bumble bee...I mean bumble beast! You can find out more about the meet in the events section here on Honda-tech.

Y-49 Curse:

I tried to trick it by painting the car Prowler Yellow... unfortunately, the Y-49 struck again.
