Default weight of your spoons + tires

35lbs for me with advan rubber anyone know of a light weight road race tire?

15X6.5 SW333's
195/50/15 S03's (bald) = 27#ish
205/50/15 AVS-i (80%) = 30#ish

me thinks.. approx... IIRC

i heard hoosiers are pretty light... anyone running them?

my old hoosiers in 225-45-15 weighed 15 lbs each bald....

not sure if you're getting ready for HC or not, but the RA1 is the spec tire from the get go.

If this is just purely driving enjoyment, I'll shut up and mind my own business

15x6.5 Spoon/EVO with 195/55/15 Advan A048 M compound

total 27lbs.

Toyo Proxes RA-1s are lighter - but are too soft for daily driving - treadwear rating is 40.

If you must run R compounds - stick with the A032R - they last a long time.

Otherwise consider a street tire - they weigh less than R compounds (except Azenis)

a048 are clearly lighter than 32's... too bad we dont get them here
