I purchased an si cluster for a 88-89 civic; when I went to install it today it had 1 more connection than I had connector. It has a blue plug in the middle on the rear....I cant find a connector for it. I was told it was plug and play basically. Can anyone help.........

More than likely you got a 90-91 cluster. The 90-91 clusters are not compatible with the 88-89 and vise versa. The 88-89 clusters are more squared and the 90-91 clusters are more rounded. Compare the shapes of your new cluster and the original one from the vehicle to see if they differ.
