anyone hear anything about the skunk2 camshafts for a 98 gsr...how would they compare to ITR camshafts in the same car...i have the ITR ones now but was thinking about upgrading to the skunk2...how much more HP if any would be gained...little help please

 

i've seen some skunk2 camshafts on a 99 gsr make 16whp over stock cams with proper tuning on a dyno. the gsr had a I/H/E skunk 2 intake mani, and throttle body. good luck

 

anyone else heard anything about them...just trying to justify spending the extra money....skunk2 website claims gains up to 17hp, is that possible?

 

I got the advertised claims. Go with the skunk manifold too and you will pick up close to 25hp.
