Well....in theory, once they break....that's it.
I called King to confirm and indeed they cannot be rebuilt. They also stated that none of them ever had to be sent back to King. In other words they said that so far nobody has had problems with them failing.

bbasso, all dampners eventually soften up with age and need to be rebuilt or replaced. i wonder how much life the lowdowns have in them for daily driving (especially nyc roads)? they can't be rebuilt so i guess you must replace them every 3, 4, 5, etc years?
