im seriously thinking about getting a used S2000. but if i do, i need another vechile for winter and hauling people.

I have only an s2k. No problems here.

I live in CT - I have an 88 CRX HF for a beater..........

No way in hell my 00 S2K is gonna see winter/salt/retarded drivers that can't drive in the snow.....etc etc.

The S2000 is the beater. I drive my R to work 3 days a week, and the S2K 2 times. I basically only drive the R on the days my wife and I are both working. The s2k gets used all weekend long.

 

I have my Civic, but I'm not babying the s2k.

97 audi a4 for the really bad winter days and a 97 civic ex coupe for the gas milage.

 

I have my Civic Coupe in my sig, I drive that everyday...my S is my weekend car...

 

95 Supra and Taurus to haul parts.

 

all i have is my S... but i wish i had a beater bc my school is hella FAR ! i wish i could afford a POS civic or something but im uber broke!

 

im planning on getting a beater for the winter.

 

90 dx hatch for rainy days and all winter long........ it's gonna be a long winter

 

im thinking about getting a used CRV or Pilot, maybe even an old subaru legacy wagon. for u guys w/ beaters, how much do u guys pay for insurance.

 

My S2000 is my only car. I can only afford one anyway.

Despite it being RWD and all, it's fine in the winter with the right tires and the right driver. Just use common sense and be careful and it's like any other car.

I don't worry about it too much....I bought the car because I like the car, and I like to drive. Therefore, I use it as such.

 

85 CRX Si - but, this doesn't help with hauling more people.

 

'01 Honda S2000 for sun/light rain
'01 Audi S4 for rain/light snow
'81 Jeep CJ-7 lifted for deep snow

 

I have a civic hatchback 1984 675,983 miles and counting

 

92 Hatch Might get a motor and a paint job when the S2K is done though.... then I'll need another car to be the beater :D

heres the for sale thread, and yeah, thats a lil 5 bolt. Used to use my s2000 front wheels when i needed better traction.
