Need help with DX to B16 distributor wiring

Need help with DX to B16 distributor wiring
well i cut the wires from the DX harness and put the SI plug on the end with all the colors corresponding (orange to orange, white to white, etc.) but i'm still not gettings any spark. do i need to change some of the wires around? i have a wiring diagram that says to change some wires but it says there should be like 2 blue/green wires on the distributor and there isnt. so any help would be great
