stupid question. but you guys are the masters.
as you all know, im not a mechanic master in any respects so im asking this stupid question. i did break my timing belt and because of it ALL of the valves got fucked and so i got new ones and its alright now. but they guy at the machine shop said that i had a hole in one before they got bent so...do you think that now that the engine has all new valves...would it run better..and would i notice any change for the better? thanks for listening to this very stupid question.
no no...im not looking into swapping motors into this beast, its the wrong kind of platform for me right now. its an ew1. yep thats carbd there. but im just saying, like it would run better right, then before when it had the hole in it. by the way the parts are already on it and its almost done being put back together. thanks
yes to your question since it had an obvious , exhaust or intake leak (from the burnt valve) it should run better. more power etc.
Do not feel dumb, this is an open forum and you should be free to be able to ask whatever you feel. We all start somewhere, we are all here to help out each other.
my bro snapped his belt on his d16a6 and bent 12 valves...now... given that the valves are bent the some of the guides must be cracked as well....as for my brother's EF...........its time for a SWAP
