Hello all,

I am interested in finding out if the 1990-1991 Integra OEM catalytic converter is the same as the 1992-1993 cat?
I have noticed that the 1990-1991 exhaust is shorter than the 1992-1993 exhaust, so I was wondering if the cats are different?
I may need a cat and I have a 1990 so I was wondering if I can use a 1992-1993 cat.

The 92 -93 cat is about 3 inches longer as you suspected.

 

Have you priced the Cat's from Acura dealers...$700 -$800 dollars for a 1990-91 integra! Go with an aftermarket performance one, will save you a ton of money (like $400+ dollars!!) Don't think the Cats are different from 90-91 to 92-93, just think the header pipe is longer. When I got my Greddy SP exhaust it came with a short extension section for the header collector before the cat (for 92-93 integras).

Vracer111...yeah I know aftermarkert cats are an option, but I have seen used OEM cats for well under $50. So I think I can save a bit of $.

 

DB1-R81, is correct, the 92-93 cat is a little longer than the 90-91. I know this because I bought a gutted out 90-91 cat and it was 2-3 inches shorter than my stock 93 cat.. If anyone is interested in a 90-91 gutted cat, let me know.
