Default S2000 parts on RSX motors

Hey,
I remember a while ago hearing a vicious rumour that the heads on the F20C and K20A3 motors were pretty similar. Has anyone tried swapping any parts from them (cams, intake manifold, header out the side by the wheel, valve springs?)

Compare the 2 head gaskets and see if the bolt pattern is the same. I kinda heard the same rumor.

exactly. I've also heard unconfermed rumors of this...
I guess the motors are really too new to be sure. What head would you rather have on your car? the F20C flows better, but the A3 head has VTC.

The dimensions on the heads are amazingly close. Some top end parts will interchange.

However, there isn't much point in swapping a K20A/A2 head for the F20C head. While the F20C head flows 5-10% better, both are worlds beyond a B-series to begin with. And the F20C head flows better in part due to its larger valves (1mm bigger). With very little work the K20A/A2 head will match the F20C head in flow and you get to keep the VTC.

this pic is bullshit...its been photoshopped. its from "prototype" they have a lotus elige with a k20r. they said they might cast a new bell housing to make it fit, but i doubt it.

yeah, i looks sorta photochopped right where the bell housing meets the block. It still would be cool though. Although I like the K20 heads better than the F20 heads, mainly due to VTC!
