Default 92-95 civic A/C condensor quick questions! HELP PLEASE

I have a 93 dx hatch and i'm about to go get a used a/c condensor off of a 94 dx coupe from another user. Awhile back i bought a condensor which was from a 94 civic si and one of the lines with the vavle on it did not fit perfectly with the condensor because it seemed like the size was too big to seal completely. So my question is the 94 dx coupe condensor the same as my original 93 dx hatchs? And when i go to look at the condensor, are there any obvious things i need to look for to know if its in good working condition? thanks in advance.

no it won't work 94 and up is R-134A for the freon and a 93 or older is R-12. so that is why the fittings are differant.

What about if I have the ac compressor that came with the 94 si condensor. Will i be able to just bolt on the r-134a compressor and condensor to my r-12 system? or are there other lines that wont fit properly.

unfortunately, you have to get the matching r-12 compressor for your r-12 system. the lines fit/line up, but you'll see that the bolts wont work either...I had the reverse problem, had a r-12 compressor for my r-134a system, just haggled the guy at the junkyard, so he "switched" it for me
