Just thought you guys might want to know about the new 2002 colors. Silverstone Metallic is being replaced buy a lighter silver. And probably the most interesting is there will now be a blue with blue interior available.

 

yup your right, i heard about it a few months ago

 

They should make a yellow interior for the yellow.

Silverstone Metallic is replaced by Sebering Silver. Suzuka Blue made it here along with blue interior. Also 2002 receives rear glass window with defrost. It also have a refined interior. Along with a smoother tranny.

actually, the blue looks kinda girly...it's no EBP...trust me. it's a really light blue, almost like powder blue. not my thing but whatever floats your boat.

different color...i WISH we were getting that blue. this is a new (and slightly gayer) blue. i've only seen pix...it might look ok in person.

Yes they have 2 blue in Japan. I think you are refering to Monte Carlo Blue. Which is different from the Suzuka Blue we are getting.

mugen: just wanted to say sorry about your loss. It's really disgusting that you can't own an itr in peace. This is pretty much much my favorite car, and I wouldn't buy it exactly for that reason.

no, that's a silverstone metallic. those pix don't do the car justice...it's a very nice color in person. [edit] but then i guess you already know that (just read your sig ).[/edit] the new silver is a lighter gray/silver...from what i've heard. no pix yet.

Is that a new rear windshield? It looks like they replaced the plastic one for a glass one? Am I correct or just blind?

 

That's still the silverstone metallic. The sebering silver is the one on current NSX I believe. That's the glass rear window you see.

 

I wonder will we be able to upgrade our plastic rears for the new glass one? it doesn't seem too different, and i don't think Honda would re-engineer the rear folding mechanism...and that light blue doesn't look too bad..it's looks a little too light, but the interior is something different..i kinda like it...and the interior doesn't look too diferent from my 01' besides the tweeter placement... oh just my 2 cents..

 

I'm pretty sure the current NSX is Kaiser Silver, which is darker than the Sebring silver that came on early model NSXes.
