Default battery reloc. > move selinoid?

I am getting rady to relocate my battery and want to besafe. I have heard of people running "breakers" inline with the (+) side. my battery (optima red top) has 700+ CCA, how many amps will me starter pull? i have heard 100 amp fuse will work, but wont that blow while starting my car everytime?

I wsa thinking that i could move the selinoid from my starter to my trunk with my battery to allieviate the need for the breaker. does this make sense? i dont want to have problems down the road. thanks for the time.

100 AMP fuse or circuit breaker is all that is needed because your main relay or fuse is 80 amp.

Putting a fuse or breaker near the battery is to protect you not for your car. If you are in a accident where for whatever reason the + cable grounds you don't want the batt exploding inside your car...make sense? Don't forget to put it in a box.

you can buy a starter seliniod by itself and wire it bypass the one in the starter. (i believe)
