Since I've installed my ES motor mount bushings, my hood vibrates at idle. I didn't notice it till over the weekend while walking around my car checking tire pressures. You don't really hear it from the inside but it is very noticeable on the outside.

When I put my hand on the hood, the vibration stops which leads me to think there is something loose on the latching mechanism. Is there a fix for this? Some sort of adjustment on the latching mechanism?

You could move the latch down a bit for a tighter fit... slot the mounting holes slitghtly.

Stock hood?
If so then on the rad support there should be two rubber stops/screws you can adjust. Turn them little by lttile to see if they help.

 

Thanks for the offer but I'm just a little far away from Cali. I'm pretty sure I can do it since I do just about everything else on my car.

I haven't tried yet since I just got back from a trip over the long weekend.
