Default Site/thread that shows maximum spring rate for ea. shock???

Is there a thread that lists what the maximum spring rate is for each shock? Is this question too hard to find answers too?

I searched but not much came up.

For example, Spoon dampers, mugen dampers, cusco dampers, tokicos, konis, etc etc

.RJ if this is too redundant just delete it instead of locking it.

there is NO MAXIMUM SPRING RATE for a shock. its been said here many times, even directly from the koni expert. usage and reliability and expectations of performance are extremely variable from user to user and you will find no definate answer other than someone elses opinion.

here's my definate answer:
no matter what shock you have, run street springs on the street and run race springs on the track.

for a dual purpose car, expect a compromise on both. that message is within my original line.

Most shocks can be re-valved and many can be custom built, so maximum spring rate is irrelevant. Realtime uses 2000lb rear springs on their RSX.

If you're worried about Off-The-Shelf valving... call the manufacturer.
