This stuff used to be rare as hen's teeth, but they have it now at the Garner Wal-mart (401 S, couple miles off of I-40). 5 quart jug is $18.88. They have a good bit of all weights.

Pennzoil is $6.88 a jug (that's what I feed the rest of the flock). They also had Castrol GTX for $6.88, and maybe Syntec as well, but I didn't check that closely.

 

Damn that's pretty cheap for Mobil 1. I'll have to check out the local Mal-Wart.

 

I'm a huge fan of the $6.88 Castrol GTX jugs.

They did have some house-brand oil for $4.88 a jug - does that help?

Concord, NC Walmart SuperCenter also carries the 5 quart Mobil 1 and 5 quart Castrol GTX.

It was $4.98 for a couple of months, but recently reverted back to $6.88, which is still cheaper than the $7 some that they used to be.

yes, that house brand is SuperTech. that's what the mx-3 beast gets changed with about every 50k miles along with a SuperTech oil filter
