A mens locker room when the vents are stuck closed after a big game.

What's the deal? Why does it stink so bad? I checked the engine bay and it is clean, same with the radiator and compressor.

This is a 92 integra btw.

 

You might have a blocked drain tube. It empties out behind the front passenger side wheel. You'll see a rubber hose attached to the frame (it may be easier to locate with the wheel off). You can snake it out with a straightened coat hanger.

You could also just have mold in your evaporater. In that case, you might need to just replace the evaporater...I don't know if it can be cleaned. Good luck!

 

also if the a/c is on and it has a coolant smell, then most likely your heater core is leaking

 

do this: get some lysol, turn your a/c on max with fresh air. Take the lysol and spray it in the vent between the front window and hood outside of the car. It should suck it up. it will clear up all the bacteria and crap. go in your car and it should smell like lysol. let your a/c run for a bit and it it continues to stank then do above.
