Gas gauge is screwed!

The gas gauge in my CRX isn't working right, at half a tank it reads empty, anyone ever had this problem? Any ideas on a solution?

will your gas guage work at all? usually the fuel sending unit goes bad, causing the gas guage to dispaly eratic readings.

Yeah it works, but it reads incorrectly.
