AEM Short Ram? N/A for ITR?
Is there no aem short ram for our cars or do I just buy the VTEC integra short ram since theres no difference between the other models and the ITR in the short ram design?
Why do you want a short-ram? It doesn't do jack... if you want to spend money, get Monster replacement filters from http://www.aj-racing.com .
I don't think you should buy one for a different model Integra because the diameter of the throttle body won't match up to that of the Type R. If you really, really want a short ram, buy a used AEM cold air and take a hack saw to it.
I've never used short-ram as all it does is suck on hot-air. (ITR engine bay gets pretty damn hot!) I think stock air-box is just as good if not better than short-ram in your case. I would personally save up that money and get a good header down the road.
OH....well its not like im dead set on AEM, i was just wondering why AEM didnt list one for the type-r...i'll check out injen and comptech short rams....
is anyone using these? I'm under the impression that the injen is the better one...

All intakes make nice noises...
I posted a thread about this a little while back

It didn't help a great deal though. I had the DC DAC, sold it and now I'm waiting for my Injen CAI to be installed

A short ram intake is OK as long as you build a heat shield around it and guide some cold air to the filter with a flexible pipe...
