I've seen it where the window mechanism gets so out of line that it begins to chew up the door, where it mounts to. Mine started to get tough to roll up too, so before I anything happend to my door, I just replaced the mechanism. Works like a charm now. Common with Hondas I guess.

the cheapo haynes manual that you can get at any parts store is decent for this job.

window regulators suck. too many moving parts.

the haynes manual is ya best bet but even taking off the panel isnt that difficult ...usually windows are either held in place by two nuts and bolts or they slide into a track on the regulator( usually domestics) or some even have clips that they just snap right in.. also the regulator might just be bent and a good hand straightening will do the trick I would try just getting down and dirty before I go buying a DAMN thang!! (But Im a poor ****' ne ways) but with whatever good luck!

k just found my cjiltns!!!!!!!!! k' it is held in place by 2 10 mm. bolts bu t im looking at the pic and realized that you said that it feelll off the track which probaly mens that the window and bolts are good but the little wheels that run along the track have come out.. the easiest way to fix that would be to take the door panel off the n and take out the whole regulator window and all then slide back the wheels onto the track then just put it back in. I f thats even the problem ? but do a little bit of playing with it before you hand it to somebody who tells you a lie just to get your money... ( oh yea and dont forget to take off the window rail on the outside before u try and take things out it makes it 100 X easier...good luck!
