I have a 90 LS and was wondering if water leakage into the passenger compartment from somewhere under the dash is a common problem?
This is rain water/car wash water as I can run the AC at dry times (weather wise no rain) and it is fine however if it rains I get water in the car. When I was at the carwash water would drip from the blower motor area so I am assuming something is messed up in that area. I have not pulled anything apart yet as I have not had time so something could have rusted out or body sealant could have dried up and cracked, or something simular. If this is a common problem or you have had to deal with in the past what are some things I can look for when trying to get this resolved.

 

sounds like a seal on the windshield.. does the inside of the car get icy when cold.. or fogged in the morning? check the seal

 

windshield was recently replaced it was doing this before it was replaced also... so i assume this is not the case, it may very well be though i'll tkae it in and have them look at it.

 

check the seals on the windsheild...u also might have a major hole or sumthin in ure fire wall
