Default How long do new springs take to get the full drop?

Hi all,

A friend and myself have both fitted -35/-40mm springs to our ludes 3 days ago, the rears have dropped 30mm but the fronts have only dropped 10mm....?

Does anyone know how long it can take to get the full drop?

We've both stuck with std shocks as money is an issue atm, we didn't do anything to the 'stoppers' on the shocks either.

Thanks

Dave

ehhhhhhhhh - to get the correct ammount of drop, it should take between the time you push the "down" button on your lift to when your car is sitting on the ground. I'd be pretty concerned if my springs were progressively letting my car down on a day-to-day basis.

your car should be as low as its going to go after you install the springs. you probably need to trim the bumper stops. I dont think the shocks are the problem, i have been dropped on stock shocks for 6 years with not probs at all

the bump stop shouldnt effect the ride hight, are you sure you got the right springs on the front?

Yep the springs are definately on right, and the right way up.

I'm getting a bit of conflicting advise between here, hondarevolutions and po.com

Thanks anyway.

dont worry bro, sometimes it takes a few hundred miles for your springs to settle. Mine were alittle uneven, but after a few months everything was fine.
