Default What's next?????

Current specs:
B20 short motor with PHK pistons
Arp rod bolts
Arp head studs
block milled 22 thou
B16 head milled 12 thou
slight porting (mainly clean up)
ITR intake springs
Toda A cams
ALLMTR racing headers
stock 58mm TB
3.5 litre custom plenum IM
Microtech stand alone
About 10.5 compresion

OK, what's next? I swapped the custom plenum with a turbo boy for an ITR TB and IM
.
Next step will either be cams or compression. I wanna change to a GSR crank and some aftermarket pistons OR change to a JUN III type cam and valvetrain.
.
I'm a bit worried about PTV clearance taking into account the amount cut from the deck and head.
.

Postponed til next year. This B20vtec thing is unfinished business. I've got quite a few K bits together already so it'll definately happen.......just not yet

you might have issues with the bigger cams, all told you're about .034 milled, which is just slightly above max that I would go. Really the only way to know is to clay the motor. WCS you'd have to deepen the valve reliefs. Compression is good, you're still going to have some measurements, but it won't be PTV issues. I think I'd do the GSR crank and see where that puts me. The crank will slow down the piston speeds, but increase hp and tq.
edit- add GSR rods also!
