I was driving home from my girl's house on Sunday and she was following me to my house fortunately, but all of a sudden my car started pulling to the right and then just gave out. The engine is fine, but something is wrong with the tranny or clutch. I can get into all the gears, but it just won't bite. When I put it in first, the speedo will work, but the clutch won't grab. Sarah and I tried to bleed the clutch on the side of the interstate, but that didnt' work at all. SO I had to get it towed the rest of the way back (about 2 hours!).

I haven't ever had a clutch "go out" so I don't know if thats what this is or not. Please help me out!

 

if the speedo is working (speed going up as you hit the gas ) then you may have a broken axle .... but if it isnt going up then you probally have a bad clutch

 

thanks, i thought about the axle, as it is fairly new. I gaveit a quick check on the side of the highway and it looked fine, but maybe it was broken inside the boot.
